Hi! We are the Lewis Family Joe, Chelsea, and Bonnie. We live on an island in Southeast Alaska called Kake. Joe is a teacher and at the moment Chelsea is a stay at home mom. We have a daughter named Bonnie who was born in June 2019. From Remote Alaska to Washington State after the 4th of July in Kake, Alaska
We celebrated the 4th of July in Kake this year and then promptly traveled to Washington State. We took the ferry for 8 hours, stayed in Juneau over night, then flew 2 hours to Seattle. Guess who got to fly the plane? Traveling with a 2 year old toddler who is potty training is not for the faint of heart.

Bonnies Head-start Graduation | Working in the Garden

Bonnie has officially graduated from Head-start, she will start Kindergarten in the fall. We got the planter beds ready for seeds and got everything planted. I think the prices are comparable to central Fla at Walmart, probably more expensive at Publix.

In germany you will be max 5 minutes on the road till police arives
The rules are very different in Alaska. We only had to drive about 10 minutes to the ferry and everything was strapped down.
I had to laugh about this if l saw it. You saved it very well. But in my own space it is vorbidden - 😢

I know Bonnie’s birthday didn't have comments, I will tell you that I remember when Bonnie was just little and she loved her veggies .I was always so impressed by that. Does Bonnie still love her veggies now that she is a big girl of 5? I have been watching you since the beginning. Does Marlin love veggies like Bonnie? Anyway Happy Birthday swet Bonnie .
Sorry that happened. The comments are on now. Not sure why RUclips switches it every once in a while. Bonnie does still love her veggies. She has decided she doesn’t like cooked veggies as much, but loves them raw. Marlin is not as good, but he really likes carrots, peppers and lettuce. He has been trying more veggies so thats been good.
It’s getting fall, like here in Upstate NY in the Mohawk Valley, the leaves are starting, to turn. I am so glad you have nice warm weather there .the kids are beautiful and growing fast .
These videos were recorded in June. It has just been a busy summer. So I am just now slowing down and working on editing. It definitely feels like fall time here in Alaska. Lots of rain.

I am very impressed with your shopping trip to Juneau and Costco. One of the things that impressed me the most was your willingness to allow the children to help you to scan your groceries. Many times people will leave their children in the carts and do it themselves, but you have found a way of helping the children to understand what they can do to help with their family. You have certainly developed some wonderful child rearing skills with your children.
